Guilds and members query - Guild Wars Forums

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I'd like a quick reply if poss on the subject of guild members from other countries. I'm in Europe, I have friends in the States and in Australia that I'd like to invite to my guild. Is there a problem with doing this in relation to GvG stuff and the tournament ladder?
